Welcome to my HubPages Profile - it's great to see everyone! 

Before I joined HubPages I worked at various jobs: as a hard liquor truck driver, as a land surveyor on a monastic island, a call center operator, a hotel manager. I also worked at all kinds of sales venues: motorcycles, music and video, book store, soda booth. I held administrative positions at a turbine blade plant and a bread factory and helped set up an international conference on concrete (after all, I have MA in international relations).

I also did fun stuff. I studied at art studios of the Noblemen's Assembly. I was a staff photographer and wrote for several magazines and newspapers. I also worked as a translator (chemistry textbooks, company reports and fiction), proofreader (that's why you won't find any misspelled words in my hubs, ha), and I managed a publishing house. In the 20th century I designed websites.

All this experience led me to the question: who are we, automatons moved by pre-set emotions and biological needs? Are you and me both numbers in the universe? I don't know but I believe each of us has a meaning - some feel it, some have yet to find it. Surely at night we may be lit by cold rays of light, but there is always tomorrow, brighter than ever. After all, we live in the best of possible worlds.
